GREENING THE ECONOMY AS A NEW STAGE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SOCIETY

The article analyzes the essence of green economy in the information society and relevant initiatives and appeals in this field. It clarifies principles of green economy are clarified and sheds light on the process of greening as a new stage in the economic development of society. The necessity of transition to formation of green thinking and lifestyle in all spheres of society and economic activity is predicated. The current situation in Azerbaijan regarding the formation of green economy is analyzed and recommendations on the measures of prevention of the harmful aspects are put forward.  (рр.3-10)
