THE CURRENT STATE OF MODERN DISTANCE LEARNING SYSTEMS, STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT, PROBLEMS

This article comprehensively analyzes the current state of modern distance learning systems, their development stages, emerging problems and ways to solve them. During the study, the theoretical foundations of distance learning were examined, its distinctive features from traditional forms of education were identified. The  article notes that in modern times, distance learning systems are widely used at the global and local levels, and it is especially emphasized that the COVID-19 pandemic has given a serious impetus to this process. In addition, the technical, pedagogical and social problems arising during the implementation of distance learning are extensively analyzed. Among the social problems, digital inequality, limited access to technologies and a low level of digital literacy are indicated as the main factors.As a result of the study, it was determined that in order to increase the effectiveness of distance learning systems, it is necessary to strengthen the technological infrastructure, develop the digital skills of teachers and students, and apply a strategic approach at the state level. As a result, distance learning has become an integral part of the modern education system and is expected to develop further in the future (pp.61-70).
