DATA SCIENCE: HISTORY, ESSENCE, AND STATUS OF TRAINING
The modern IT industry has posed the problem of Big data for the analysis of exponentially increasing data, while academic societies are shaping Data Science. Data Science is a rapidly growing field in the academic environment. This article describes Data Science as one of the key problems of the educational field in the age of big data. It highlights the terminological, historical aspects and essence of Data Science. As a discipline, the current situation in this area is analyzed, the status of teaching of this discipline in developed countries is examined and its interdisciplinary perspectives are studied (pp.86-98).
