ANALYSIS OF SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT OF WIKI-SPACE

In recent years, virtual encyclopedia Wikipedia has became the largest source of knowledge on the Internet. With increasing growth of encyclopedic articles and the number of wiki -participants in Wiki-space, number of disputes, conflicts, misinformation and propaganda is growing. In the paper the socio-demographic composition of the wiki participants is analyses  and their influence on the content of the articles and the information confrontation in the wiki space is studied.
