GREEN COMPUTING: STATE-OF-THE-ART, PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES
Orkhan Sh. Mehdiyev

The article discusses various aspects of green computing, the state-of-the-art and development perspectives. Studies show that the surrounding environment undergoes anthropogenic and man-made factors. The Earth confronts the problem of global warming and carbon dioxide emissions due to the development of small, medium and large industrial enterprises. Information and communication technologies have become the driving force of modern society. Their energy consumption and the amount of natural raw materials necessary for their production are daily growing. The article proposes to focus on these problems and provides recommendations for their solution based on the initiative of green computing (pp.118-126).

Keywords:ecology, green computing, energy efficiency, carbon footprint.
