INTERNET OF MEDICAL THINGS AND ITS OPPORTUNITIES FOR TRACKING THE PHYSIOLOGICAL STATE OF AN OFFSHORE PLATFORM PERSONNEL

The article explores the practical tasks related to the application of IoT technology in various fields of healthcare. IoT-services and IoT-applications used in e-health are analyzed and classified, and the opportunities of their application to guard the physical condition of personnel on offshore oil platform are shown. The risks and challenges arising from the implementation of IoT solutions in healthcare and representing a threat to both the physical safety of patients and the confidentiality of their personal data are identified (pp.51-62).
